Completed Website Design ProjectsJUL The Psychic Wolf Wolfram Sprengel's website offers psychic readings. Wolfram believes that he is a medium or a messenger between two worlds. He uses this vision to help people connect to "somebody from the other side". Wolfram's small website will grow as the offering becomes clearer and he connects his website to others in the psychic healing world. JUN Be The Band The Be The Band web site was designed by a third party the owner, Alf Murphy, employed. Dynamic Web Solutions was provided this design with instructions to make the web site look EXACTLY as it did in the design. The web site was created in two parts; a static site with the text contained on the right hand column, and a blog section with a content management system with the text contained in a larger middle column, to allow for more text and slideshow galleries. MAY Engage TV More and more we notice large, flat panel television screens in retail stores, bars and restaurants. This is the work of Justin Morris. Justin assists storeowners with in-store audiovisual promotion. This highly specialised area of marketing is high-tech and fast moving. Justin's website is clean and modern and presents his service well amongst his competitors offerings. MAY Grace Repiling Repiling is a tricky business and homeowners looking to have their house re-stumped are extremely cautious about what supplier they choose. So the Grace Repiling website is about establishing the credibility and describing the abilities of Master tradesperson Mike Field. Pages like the testimony page are aimed at building confidence in potential customers. The banner photography on this website is from Dynamic Web Solution's own stock of Auckland panorama photography. MAR Apollo Audiology Looking for a modern, sciency feel audiologist, Philippa Hunt, wanted her site to communicate more strongly to a younger audience. As such it follows some of the ideas of the Apple website with lots of white space, pale grey gradients and a focus on the groovy cutting edge products. MAR Hillcrest Promotions Hillcrest Promotions distributes corporate clothing, gifts and premiums. Their website is only to display the range of product they have available. As a dynamic business they have a content management system with a built-in product catalogue that will allow them to easily add and remove product from their website.
MAR Caddy Patch Caddy Patch is a clever little product that shows a golfer where on the club head they hit the golf ball. The Caddy Patch can be reused and reset by wiping a thumb over the genuine suede surface. Caddy Patch distributor, Alec Tod, will link his site from other golf related sites to draw in traffic and build link popularity for his site. Other golf and related products could easily be added to the site. FEB Enertec Marine Systems Dynamic Web Solutions was asked to remake the Enertec Marine Systems web site with content management to allow the content to be maintained in-house. There was no new design for the site, although the design is slightly wider and centred on the screen making better use of the available screen real estate. Dynamic Web Solutions reused the graphics from the original static site. JAN Pacific Power Systems Dynamic Web Solutions was asked to remake the PPS site with content management to allow the content to be maintained in-house. There was no new design for the site. Dynamic Web Solutions simply recycled the graphics from the static site. New design can be wrapped around the site at any time. NOV Ward Digital Copy Services David Ward has an offer that is hard to refuse for those among us who invested in LPs and cassettes or VHS tapes and now find; there are no players for them, or the media itself is deteriorating, or they can not be replaced in you local CD store or at Amazon. Likewise, David restores old and fading photography to it original colour and vibrancy. NOV NZ Rigging The crew at NZ Rigging wanted a way to maintain and update their web site with news and new pictures. They were happy with the layout and design of their existing site, they just needed access to it. DWS set up Wordpress on their existing host, migrated all their text and pictures over and then refit there design. We followed up with onsite training and little Flash movies detailing individual procedures in Wordpress. SEP Giotto’s Industrial Inc The exclusive NZ distributor of Giottos Tripods had this site made to support their retailers. The site describes the products in great detail so consumers can contrast this relatively new brand with long standing leaders in the market like Manfroto. The site features a product catelogue that has had the prices, shopping cart and payment gateway turned off, as purchasing is only through their retail stores. SEP Photogear Trademe merchant Jay Chow was looking to migrate sales of his photography equipment from Trademe toward his own web site. Many merchants find Trademe fees add up to a significant monthly spend. Return customers can easily be directed to the merchant's own web site with a note on their invoice or packing slip. This way Trademe can be used to acquire customers, but after that your own store can take over. AUG Robin Ducker Photography Robin has been a photography enthusiast since he was a child and his work reflects his depth of experience and talent. Robin's site runs on the popular Wordpress publishing platform with Simpler Viewer handling the photo galleries. Ecommerce will appear on this site in the near future. MAR Word Rites Sisters Michelle and Pamela are writing poems for rites of passage and personalised stories for children. MAR Mr Gleem Bill Gillespie was looking for the ability to give more information about his carpet and upholstery cleaning business than what paper-based classified ads and online directories were able to offer him. With help from DWS he created this simple static web site that aims to give a fuller picture of his services and area of operation. He can now link this resource from Finda or Wises and give people better information. MAR Professional Plumbing Ltd Professional Plumbing approached DWS for a simple 6 page web site detailing their services, location and contact details. This attractive site is fast loading and covers the basics: what services are offering, location and contact information. FEB Mosen Euro Parts Mosen Euro Parts is New Zealand’s only exclusive BMW dismantler. Owners Kerry Meehan and Mike Mosen wanted a simple web site that showed BMW enthusiasts and mechanics what models they have on the lot and are currently dismantling. SEP Northcote Tavern The historic Northcote Tavern has been a fixture on the Auckland pub scene for many years. This is not to say it isn't moving with the times. The Pub has recently opened a modern, espresso cafe and has a busy events schedule. The pub features two main bars: a working man's bar with wide screen TVs and gaming machines, and lounge bar with a roaring fire, comfy couches and a wide selection of drinks. SEP Lifestyle Textures Terry Devine is an exterior plasterer - with a difference. If you click through Terry's web site you will see exterior furniture, planter pots and garden features constructed in polystyrene and coated for exterior use. This construction is durable and lightweight. The pots and planters are available to buy and custom orders are welcomed. SEP Junk & Disorderly Junk and Disorderly trade in second hand goods. Prop buyers and photographers also hire items for television and magazine advertising. This site connects the user with Junk and Disorderly's Trademe store and gives the user location and contact information.
OCT Iceworks International Iceworks International are conference organisers and build incentive travel and staff incentive programs. Icework's general manager, Keri Davis, has overseen the production of this stylish, company web site. Keri reviewed the web sites of his competitors before he made his pitch. He has paid particular attention to colour and style and has hand-picked much of the photography on the web site.
AUG TCANZ TCANZ uses a content management system to update and change their site's content. They asked DWS to propose a design for their homepage and sub-pages. Two designs were given, the preferred design is pictured left.
APRIL Care 4 Your Eyes New Zealand-based software company, AboutIT hired DWS to do the design on this site. Care 4 Your Eyes offers eye advice and exercise routines. The site recognises that today more and more people do computer screen based work and this narrows their visual acuity by diminishing peripheral vision. The site focuses on the Feldenkrais Method.
APRIL AboutIT AboutIT is a New Zealand-based software company. AboutIT offers browser build web sites. Their sites offer many plug-in features like mailing lists, site registrations, document sharing, photo galleries, product catalogues and shopping carts. Owner Ian Mitchell brings a lifetime of software development to his web services portfolio. If you need a well thought out shop or club web site, Ian should be your first call.
MAR Sparkplug Hugh Meares is an Auckland based consultant specialising in refining and focusing sales pitches for large export companies. His web site is plain and business-like. His competitors' sites focused more on the personality of the consultant and not on their services or customer feedback.
